He married Verlon Faye Kelley . He was a veteran of World War ll, serving in the U.S. Army. He worked in the oilfield and was an insurance agent. He was a member of the VFW and the Highland Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 65 years of the home, a sister Juanita Spradling of Duncan and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. Services were in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home of Duncan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
