W. "Choc" Farmer Lifelong Marlow resident W. W. "Choc" Farmer, 85, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at his home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at Fifth Street Baptist Church with Brother James Croswell and the Rev. Jerry Couch officiating. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral home. Born September 9, 1917 to H. B. and Anna May (Adams) Farmer in Marlow, he was self- employed as a farmer. Farmer attended Sand Hill Schools and enjoyed being with his family. On September 20, 1941 he married Mary Maxine Cullum in Marlow. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Pete Farmer; and sisters Agness Newsom and Gladys Sparks. Survivors in addition to his wife Maxine of the home include a son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Jo Farmer of Marlow; grandchildren Jimmy Farmer II, Joseph Farmer and May Ann Loveday all of Marlow; great grandchildren Wade Farmer, Wyatt Farmer, Jessica Farmer and Marshal Loveday; and a brother and sister-in-law J. C. and Ruth Farmer of Marlow. Serving as pallbearers were Son Horner; William Justus; Carl Barrington; Larry Crowel; Darrell Sparks; and David Patterson.
