All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Duncan Banner 12 Apr 2002 Eston Henry ‘Pete’ Farmer Eston Henry “Pete” Farmer, 91, of Lake Humphreys went to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2002. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Gresham and the Rev. Gene Jorgenson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Mr. Farmer was born on Nov. 21, 1910, in Kennydale, Texas, to Henry Burl and May Adams Farmer. He married Lyla Jean Woods Davis on Oct. 19, 1983. He was a carpet layer for 42 years and a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Jerry Farmer of Marlow; three daughters, Joan Null and her husband, Doc, of Newark, Texas, and Jean James of Duncan; a step-daughter, Cindy Lasher and her husband, Mike, of Yukon; a son-in-law, John Reynolds of Duncan; two brothers and sisters- in-law, Woodrow Farmer and his wife, Maxine, and J.C. Farmer and his wife, Ruth, of Marlow; 67 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Charles Farmer; a daughter, Joyce Reynolds; and two sisters. Bearers will be Josh Calfy, Bryan Calfy, F.L. Estes, Sonny Terrell, Daryl Wilson and Frank Bennett. Honorary bearers are LeRoy Ramsey, Don Brooks and Dewey Cox.
