All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Tahoka Cemetery--Tahoka TX Lubbock Avalanche Mary Fleener TAHOKA — Graveside memorial services for Mary Walker Fleener, 97, of Marlow, Okla., were held Saturday in the Tahoka Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of White Funeral Home of Tahoka. She died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002. She was born April 8, 1905, in Aspermont. She graduated from Tahoka High School and attended Simmons University and Rice University. She married Fred Fleener in 1930 in Post. He died July 4, 1945. After her husband's death, she worked for Shell Oil Co. in Houston until retiring. She was a Baptist. A son, Fred Jr., died in the Korean War.
