She married Elzy Ainsworth June 25 1927 in Wichita Falls, TX. She was preceded in death by a son J.C. Ainsworth in 1930, a brother, two sisters and two great-great-grandchildren. Services were held in the Freewill Baptist Church in Duncan. She married Virgil Bennett Jan 3 1940 in Duncan. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 22 1969. He served as a member of the 2nd Marine Div. in World War 11 on Siapan, Tinian and Okinawa. He married Patsy Hughes in Yuma AZ on June 17, 1950. He was an ordained minister in the Freewell Baptist Church serving in California, Velma Ok, Duncan OK, and Comanche OK. He worked for the City of Comanche as a firefighter, in the electrical dept, and retired as Police Chief in 1991. He retired from the ministry in 1998. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy , on April 5 1995. He married Ina Mae Wren in Comanche on March 2 1997. He was preceded in death by brothers Thomas Wesley, Bobby Jo, and Raymond. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marlow and the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Doris June and Delores Bridges and two brothers Don and Jim Bridges. He served in the U.S. Army during the 2nd World War. He retired from Stephens Co. road maintenance employee. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Marlow VFW. He was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Kelly and a brother D.O. Burton. Funeral services were held in the Callay-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Russell officiating. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, a member of the Senior Adult Choir at the church and of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 1 1987. Survivors include her husband of the home, sons Brant Gentry and Blane Gentry of Duncan, a brother Don and Rosemary Mitchell of Moore and two sisters Corine and Roy Burch and Faye and Raymond Towell all of Duncan. She was preceded in death by a brother Granville Mitchell and a sister Bernadine Burch. He was a member of the Walters American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and a member of the Corum First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Arnold Hartman, a sister, Clara Bell Sylvester and a niece Dixie Dell Birdwell. She was preceded in death by her father William Odell Smith and one brother. He worked as construction Superintendent for Kerr-McGee Oil Co. moving to Duncan in 1995 from Ridgecrest CA. He was a member of the Elk Ave. Church of Christ and the Democratic Party. He was buried in the Duncan Cemetery. He married Doris Renfro in Tulsa Dec. 21 1946. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force in the China, Burma Theatre during World War 11. He attended Tulsa University, Okla. A and M. and Texas Tech U. He joined his father at W.T. Robinson and Son Trucking Co. in 1946 He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and brothers Dale Morgan Robinson, Don Merle Robinson, and Edward Jordon Robinson. He was raised in Waurika, Comanche and the Tucker community. He entered the U.S. Army in 1939, retiring in 1969 as Master Sgt. He served in Germany, France, Italy, North Africa, Belgium, and Czechoslovakia during the 2nd World War and was much decorated. He married Ann Landers March 10 1941 in Comanche. He was a member of the Denton Baptist church. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Funeral services were held in the Backer Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Couch of the Denton Baptist Church officiating.
