Gleghorn Service for D.T. Gleghorn, 82, of Duncan, who died Sunday, July 20, 2003, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Randy Southerland and Jerry Black officiating. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Gleghorn was born March 13, 1921, in Seymour, Texas, to Donald L. and Annie Bryan Gleghorn. He married Dovie Wright on Feb. 18, 1966, in Duncan. A veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, Mr. Gleghorn was retired from Halliburton Services, where he worked as an electronics technician. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a 32-degree Mason, and he attended New Hope Baptist Church West. Survivors include his wife, Dovie, of the home; a son, Dale Gleghorn of Duncan; a stepson, Bill Watters and his wife Ann of Duluth, Minn.; a stepdaughter, Anna Sue Rippe and her husband Steve of Denver; a daughter-in-law, Betty Gleghorn of Duncan; a brother, D.V. Gleghorn of Duncan; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Gleghorn, and a grandson. Bearers will be Stan Shufeldt, Larry Watters, Travis Watters, Justus Watters, Gary Bowman and Gordon Gleghorn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Duncan Senior Citizens Center, 1110 N.
