Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ray of Hope Church with the Rev. Mike McCord officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home of Duncan. Mr. Gilchrist was born April 28, 1954, in Altus, to G.R. and Cornelia Jones Gilchrist. He married Karen Chambless Gourney on June 3, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. Gilchrist was employed with A.E.P. - P.S.O. as an electrical serviceman. He loved music, electronics and his John Deere. He especially loved his grandkids and would help anyone and everyone who needed him. He was affiliated with the Methodist church. Survivors include his wife of the home; his parents of Midwest City; two daughters, Lindsi Moore and her husband, Wes, of Roosevelt, and Halie Gilchrist of the home; and two grandchildren, Cade and Cole Moore of Roosevelt. He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Gilchrist, on April 29, 2001. Bearers will be David Hunt, Jerry Stowers, Rob Shoemake, Jimmy McDonald, John Childers and Dee Davis. Honorary bearers are Mike McMasters, Kevin Sears, Mark Hall, Roy Jarnagin, Ed Laminack and Jeff Davenport. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tom Gilchrist Memorial Fund, c/o Local Oklahoma Bank, 1006 W.
