All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Fairlawn Cemetery--Chickasha OK Duncan Banner 9 Apr 2003 Mary Jane Gilmore COMANCHE - Mary Jane Gilmore, 90, of Comanche died Tuesday, April 7, 2003, in Pecan Manor Nursing Home in Fort Worth, Texas. Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with Kelly Hinson officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. "Janie" was born April 28, 1912, between Velma and Santa Fe, to Benjamin and Eva Mae Wilson. She attended schools in both the Sante Fe and Comanche communities. She married Arnold Hendrix and they made their home in Comanche. She worked as a seamstress. She married Albert Gilmore in January 1954, and they moved to Fort Worth in 1955 to make their home. Janie moved back to Comanche in 1976, and in 1985, she returned to Fort Worth. Survivors include two sons, Robert Hendrix of Godley, Texas, and Roger Hendrix of Fort Worth; a daughter, Wanda Sanderson of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
