Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Ligon officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Lawton. Mrs. Garrison was born Nov. 12, 1907, in Marlow, Indian Territory, to Harley and Clara Reid Peters. She married Wilmer Pleasant Garrison on Nov. 12, 1925, in Duncan. He preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 1992. Mrs. Garrison lived in the Marlow area all of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sunshine Home Demonstration Club for over 50 years and loved canning, cooking and making cakes. She loved to show those items in the County Fair where she won many blue ribbons for her cooking. She also enjoyed to work in the garden with her husband. She was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert and Pat Garrison and Lloyd Garrison, all of Duncan; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn A. and Raymond Walbridge of Arlington, Texas; a brother, James A. Peters of Duncan; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great- great-grandchildren. Bearers will be Tommy Foley, Dustin Foley, Frank Walbridge, Jay Freeman, Greg Pierson, Scott Hale and James Embree.
