All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Greenfield, Lewis "Lew" 1930 - 2005 Lewis "Lew" Greenfield, 75, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2005, in Granbury. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Granbury Church of Christ. Burial: 2 p.m. Monday in Palavy Cemetery, Sweetwater. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials: Chisholm Trail Church of Christ in Duncan, Okla., or the Granbury Church of Christ Building Fund. Mr. Greenfield was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Dermott to Joe Melton and Ruth Baggett Greenfield. He married Lois Byrd on June 12, 1948, in Sweetwater. Mr. Greenfield worked 34 years as an engineer for Halliburton. He served as an elder at the Chisholm Trail Church of Christ in Duncan, Okla., and was an active member of Granbury Church of Christ. He was also a volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack Greenfield; and brother-in-law, Royce Moore. Survivors: Wife, Lois Greenfield of Granbury; son, Gary Greenfield of Granbury; daughter, Carolyn Pack; grandsons, Evan Hardgrove, Taylor Hardgrove, Van Pack; granddaughter, Jacquelyn Pack; brother, Morris Greenfield and wife, Anne, of Mineral Wells; and sisters, Doris Moore of Jacksboro, Shirley McCormack and husband, Gary, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Delores Simon and husband, Frank, of Denton.
