The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ===================================================================== Surnames: Hesselrode, Wilkerson, Hampton, Whitten, Johnson Ruth Wilkerson Hesselrode, born Mar ch 1, 1915 in Rogersville MO. to Garnie P. and Agnes Wilkerson, died Jan 6, 2001 at Wilkins Nursing Home in Duncan (Stephens Co.) at the age of 85. She married Bernie M. Hesselrode on Aug. 29,1934 in Monrovia CA. She moved to Duncan in 1993. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Hampton and her husband Jay of Duncan, and their children Alicia Whitten, Michelle Johnson and the Rev. Brandon Hampton , a son Rev. Ron Hellelrode and his wife Kristie and their daughter Hiedi Hesselrode all of Troy Mo. Four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, one sister Ethelyn Wall of Davenport Wash., two brothers Kenneth Wilkerson and Donald Wilkerson both of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 and her oldest son David B. Hesselrode in 1990. Graveside services were held in the Duncan Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Headley officiating under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home of Duncan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
