Service for Geneva E. Hawkins, 73, of Duncan, who died today in Meridian Nursing Home, is pending with Carter-Smart Funeral Home. ========= Duncan Banner 31 Dec 2002 Geneva E. Hawkins Geneva E. Hawkins, 73, of Duncan died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, in Meridian Nursing Center. Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Douthitt officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Garden. Mrs. Hawkins was born June 10, 1929, in Bradley to Amos and Hattie Howell. She married Sam "Hoof" Hawkins on Oct. 13, 1961, in Lawton. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1998. Survivors include two sons, Robert and Carlos Brewer, both of Duncan; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Larry Hudson of Meridian; two step daughters, Debbie Hawkins and Cheryl Hawkins; three brothers, Amos Howell, Bill Howell and J.C.
