All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm =========================================================================+ Duncan Banner 7 Sep 2003 Danny Joe Hatton Danny Joe Hatton, 51, of Duncan died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, in the Duncan Care Center. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the Restlawn Memorial Cemetery in Altus, with the Rev. Scott Rogers of the Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Dan was born at Altus on Aug. 4, 1952, to Billie Joe and Virginia (Bruce) Hatton. He graduated from high school in Albuquerque, and received a master's degree in education from the University of Albuquerque. He later received a master's degree in behavioral science from Cameron University in Lawton. Dan had been in Albuquerque for several years and returned to Duncan in 2000 to be near his parents. He worked for a short time as a mental therapist for the Marie Detty program in Chickasha, in Addictions and Mental Health. Survivors include his father and mother, Billie Joe and Virginia Hatton of Duncan; two daughters, Angela Hatton and Allison Hatton, both of Grants, N.M.; a grandson, Jordan Elijah, and granddaughter, Kalin Nicole, both of Grants; several uncles, aunts and other relatives. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Stephens County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/stephens/stephens.htm
