Walter Holder was born Aug 4, 1883 and died Sept 4, 1940. He came here in Feb. 1916 from Texas with his parents and had been active in civic affairs. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carol E. Holder; 2 sisters, Mrs. G. A. Peacock of Dallas and Mrs. E. A. Oliver of Sanvehita? Texas, an adopted son, B. A. Vineyard of San Antonio, Texas, 3 nephews and 3 nieces. Services will be held at the R-G Chapel at 1:30 Thursday Sept. 5th conducted by Rev. Roy L. Hurst and a second service at the Methodist Church in Frisco Texas the following day with interment in the Rowlett Cemetery. --------------------------------------------------------------------
