Horn of Marlow, born Dec. 25 1928 in Marlow to Ben and Pearl Watkins Horn, died May 9 1999 in Westbrook Care Center in Waurika. He married Hazel W. Hanks in Wichita Falls in 1953. He lived in Newkirk for 28 years and in Yukon for 10 years before moving back to Marlow where he lived for five years. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was power plant supervisor while in Newkirk. Survivors include a son, Carroll M. Horn Jr. of Dallas, two daughters, Cathy Fish and husband David of Garland TX and Carolyn Keenan-Ash of Waurika, four grandchildren and a sister Ela Bess Evans of Guyton GA. Funeral services were in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow with Rev. Chris Brown officiating. Burial was in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. --------------------------------------------------------------------
