Harms of Oklahoma City, born in Newkirk on Dec. 15 1916 to Eilert and Anna Harms, raised by foster mother "Mother Blevins, died Jan 11, 2001 in Oklahoma City at the age of 84. He married Burneita Leola Roller Nov. 4, 1939 in Walters OK. He was a veteran of World War Two, serving in a Field Artillery unit of the army. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, was a buyer for Haliburton. He participated in Duncan Little Theater, Kiwanis Club, and was active in the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission. He was affiliated with the First Christian Church. Survivors include two daughters, LaNita Warner of Oklahoma City and Mary Jane Johnson of Benbrook,TX, two grandchildren, Stephania and Debrah Warner. Services were held at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy L. Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
