All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Marlow Review 6/9/2005 Grace Harmeyer Lifelong area resident, Grace Harmeyer, 93, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2005, in Duncan. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dale Nease officiating. Burial was held in the Duncan City Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith- Cobb Funeral Home. Born Feb. 4, 1912, to William and Appie (Price) Cearlock, in Stephens County, she was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, gardening, and was active with her son on the farm. On Dec. 13, 1931, she married J.D. Harmeyer, in Hope, he preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1984. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Judy Harmeyer; two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include a son, Lynn Harmeyer of Marlow; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Jane and John Watkins of Duncan, Marge and Ralph Rigdon of Duncan, Carolyn Hassebroek of Scottsdale, Ariz., and June Kreiger of Bray; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and two nieces, Wanda Nease and Velda Green.
