All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Hatchett Cemetery--Bessie OK Duncan Banner 03 Sep 2002 Maude Igo CORDELL — Maude Igo, 88, of Cordell died Friday, August 30, 2002, in Cordell Memorial Hospital. Service was to be at 2 p.m. today at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cordell with Dale Nease officiating. Burial was to be in Hatchett Cemetery in Bessie under the direction of Jack Loftiss Funeral Home of Cordell. Mrs. Igo was born Oct. 30, 1913, in Stephens County to Robert Lee and Amanda Mae Black Bryant. She married Hubert Igo on July 12, 1931, in Bessie. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Igo was a homemaker. Most of all she loved to fish, but not eat them. She also loved to have her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren come see her as often as possible. She loved to work in her yard and flower beds. She received yard of the month for seven years. She enjoyed playing dominoes, cards and wahoo. Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Mae Mosier of Cordell and Wanda Kay Merrill and her husband, Carl, of Duncan; a sister, Viola Wolfe of Dill City; two brothers, Luther Black of Cordell and Clifford Black and his wife, Sammie, of Clinton; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
