Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Ligon officiating. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born July 25, 1917, to Luther and Bertha (Coker) Ingram. He was retired from the oilfield as a pumper and driller and also farmed most of his life. Ingram was a member of the First Baptist Church, Elks Club in Pauls Valley and he enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, hunting and farming. On January 29, 1939, he married Avonel Monette Willard in Ryan. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and a sister. Survivors in addition to his wife Avonel of the home include three daughters and two sons-in-law Laura and Joe Bratton of Clayton, NM, Betting Selling of Oklahoma City and Grace and Ron Cassell of Marlow; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include twin brother Zeb Ingram and wife Imogene of Ryan; and a sister Bernice Robinson of Crescent. Serving as pallbearers were Rob Cassell; Glen Selling; Donnie McCaleb; Kelly Pierce; Tom Ingram; and Zeb Ingram.
