HEREFORD - Harold Ray Jacks died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fellowship of Believers Church with 
the Rev. Tracy Dunn-Noland officiating. Burial will be in West Park 
Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mr. Jacks was born April 28, 1931, in Countyline, Okla. to James and 
Fannie Jacks. 

He was a veteran, having served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict.

He loved to fish and was a retired park ranger with the Department of 
Forestry Service in Arizona.

He was a member of Fellowship of Believers Church, Hereford Veteran of 
Foreign Wars post and Hereford Lions Club.

He was a previous owner of Gulf Wholesale in Hereford and had worked for 
Suits Auto in Hereford for more than 10 years.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Survivors include two daughters, Sonya Cash and husband, Gail, of Hereford 
and Barbara Alexander and husband, Rowen, of Austin; four brothers, Bill 
Jacks of Van Alstyne, John Jacks and Jimmy Jacks, both of Douglas, Ariz. 
and Charles Jacks of Lubbock; three sisters, Mary Martin of Jauquin, 
Dorothy Inscore of Prescott, Ark. and Paula Lemon of Douglas; a sister-in-
law, Mae Jacks of Irving; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout 
Project for the Jack Griffin Apartments, Attention: Shellie Patterson, 401 
Jack Griffin St., Hereford, TX 79045.
