All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Fairlawn Cemetery--Comanche OK Duncan Banner 06 Sep 2002 Edith Juanita Jackson COMANCHE — Edith Juanita Jackson died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, in Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, Calif. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ray of Hope Church with Dow Pannell officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jackson was born Jan. 19, 1921, in Corum, to Jim and Edna Howard Montgomery. She married Darvin Jackson of April 14, 1939, in Duncan. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1992. The Jacksons farmed in Oklahoma until 1962 when they moved to California where they owned and operated Montgomery Mattress. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mischa and Ron Routon of Riverside; a sister, Johnnie Clinger of Comanche; two grandsons, Ryan and Jonathan Routon of Riverside; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Everett; a sister, Myrtle Lee Martin; and a grandson, Brandon. Bearers will be Danny Montgomery, G.C. Roe, Gary Pinnell, Rod Pinnell, Cletys Stiles and Robert Martin.
