Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 9, at the Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow, with the Rev. Alvin Miller and Dr. Scott Fenton officiating. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery. Born March 2, 1906, to Josiah and Winnie (Anderson) Billy, in Wadeville Community, she enjoyed outdoors, working in the garden, on the farm caring for her chickens, and taking care of her family. On Nov. 27, 1935, she married Cephus Jones, in Wadeville Community, he preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Edmond, Josiah Jr., and D.C. Billy; two sisters, Nancy Billy Alexander, and Maggie Billy Daney; and a great-grandson, Zachary Marshall Purser. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Marshall Purser of Plano, Texas; a grandson, John Purser and wife Brandi of McKinney, Texas; a great-granddaughter,, Derian Purser of McKinney, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Harold Meashintubby, Larry Williams, T.O.
