Johnson Sr., 84, of Waterford died Thursday at Memorial Medical Center. Mr. Johnson was a native of Duncan, Okla. He lived in Stanislaus County five years. He was retired after a 35-year career as a welder for Bethlehem Steel Company. He was a member of the Boilermakers' Union and the First Southern Baptist Church, Waterford. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Johnson of Waterford; children, Lloyd C. Johnson Jr. of Modesto, Edgar Leon Johnson of Hughson and Doris J. Kincaid of Oxnard; brothers, Herbert Leon Johnson of Turlock and Leo Edgar Johnson of Ballico; sisters, Reba Gilstrap of Sonora, Ruby Reniuo of Jackson, Lois Lohman and Doris Jane Johnson, both of Ceres, and Johnnie Mae Reed of Turlock; and 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at Eaton Family Funeral Home.
