He married Bernadine Baker on sept. 20 1979 in Duncan. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army and served in Germany. He worked in the oil field. Survivors include his wife of the home, three children, Mary Jane Kephart Eakins and her husband Brody Lee of Duncan, Joseph Aaron Kephart of Manitou, and Jennifer Lynn Kephart of Duncan, a grandson Matthew Wayne Eakins, his mother-in-law Margaret Baker of Pauls Valley, a brother-in-law Rickie Green and wife Darlene of Duncan, two nieces, Holly Green and Candie Green, a nephew Matthew Wayne Green, a sister-in-law Victoria Baker of Brazelton GA, two brothers- in-law Poncho Baker and Rickie Baker both of Pauls Valley, and a sister-in-law Rebecca Kay Baker Easterwood of Braselton GA.
