Kephart Claudie L. Kephart, 78, of Duncan died Thursday, March 20, 2003, in Lawton. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Assembly of God with the Rev. Clyde Headley and the Rev. Ron Meador officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Claudie was born March 15, 1925, in Harrisburg, Stephens County, to Laphy L. and Dovie Hall Kephart. He married Clara Blalock on Jan. 24, 1947, in Henrietta, Texas. Mr. Kephart worked in the oilfield for Nichols Drilling since 1964. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God. Survivors include his wife of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Eddie L. and Dale Kephart of Bridgecreek; three daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Bill Pittman and Peggy and Rodney Haviland, all of Duncan and Edith and Bill Davis of Edinburg, Texas; seven grandchildren, Tamma Foster, Denisa Davis, Eddie Kephart Jr., Chandra Gonzalez, Garrett Haviland, Chalaine Pittman and Abbie Haviland; and seven great- grandchildren. Bearers will be Ed Kephart, Eddie Kephart, Bill Davis, Garrett Haviland, Rodney Haviland and Bill J. Pittman. Honorary bearers are Howard Cummings, J.B.
