Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lawton Ward. Burial will be in Cache Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. Mr. Ketner was born in Noble on Dec. 16, 1928. He grew up in Chandler, Ariz. He married Frances Phipps on Jan. 29, 1948, in Chandler. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1946-'47. He had lived in the Lawton area since 1950. He worked for the City of Lawton, Lawton Public Schools and Lawrence Tank. He was a Central High resident for many years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Duncan Ward, where he was a seventy. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans, a Cub Scout master, a Central High School booster, and a volunteer fireman at Central High. Survivors include his wife, Frances Phipps Ketner of the home; a son, Johnny Dale Ketner Sr., of the home; four sisters, Mattie Belle Hill and husband, Jim, of Laveen, Ariz., Lorena Ashlin and husband, Lem, of Chandler, Ariz., Louise Helt of Broken Arrow, and Jeanne Robinson of Toledo, Ohio; seven grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.
