Arrangements were made under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born March 17, 1942, to John H. and Beulah (Scott) King in Lovett, FL, he served for the U. S. Army. King retired from McCullough Trucking as a truck driver and had lived in Oklahoma for 40 years. On September 3, 1965, he married Phyllis Jane Sparks in Duncan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers. Survivors in addition to his wife Phyllis of the home include three daughters Tammy Nickell and husband Jimmy, Greorgeann Hartsock and friend Darrell Burruss and Lori King all of Duncan; five grandchildren; a great- grandchild; and two sisters Mary King and Thelma Hawkins both of Florida.
