King MARLOW — Service for Bonnie R. King, 74, of Marlow, who died Monday, June 17, 2002, in Lawton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Marlow with the Rev. James Croswell officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. The family will receive visitors from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. ========= Duncan Banner 19 Jun 2002 Bonnie Ruth King MARLOW — Bonnie Ruth King, 74, of Marlow went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 17, 2002, in Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Marlow with the Rev. James Croswell officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. King was born July 8, 1927, in Velma to Dan and Jimmie Newman Files. She married Raymond H. King on Jan. 18, 1944, in Marlow. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2000. Mrs. King graduated from Marlow High School and was a lifelong resident of Marlow. She enjoyed traveling, camping, blue grass festivals and senior citizen fellowship. She was a former employee of the Ben Franklin Store in Marlow. Mrs. King was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church in Marlow. Survivors include her son, Bobby Joe King and his wife, Karen, of Duncan; a daughter, Ann Vining and her husband, Gary, of Marlow; four grandchildren, Dana Smiley and Rebecca Lewis, both of Marlow, Jennifer King of Houston, Texas, and Kaylin King of Duncan; two great- grandchildren, Logan and Landon Baker of Marlow; and four sisters, Teenie Scott, Donna O’Neal and Sue Whitehead all of Marlow, and Maxine Parker of Lawton. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Peggy Edwards and a brother, Forrest Files. Bearers will be David O’Neal, Mark O’Neal, Tim Whitehead, Mike Page, Jeff Scott and Dusty Clayton.
