All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Ebeneezer Cemetery--Arp TX Lawton Constitution August 28, 2003 Dale Calvin 'Sonny' Knight TALCO, Texas -- Funeral for former Duncan resident Dale Calvin "Sonny" Knight, 71, Talco, Texas, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bogata, Texas, United Methodist Church. Mr. Knight died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, in Tyler, Texas. Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. at Ebeneezer Cemetery, Arp, Texas, under direction of Wood Funeral Home, Bogata. He was born July 28, 1932, in Duncan to John and Ruffin Augusta Knight. He worked for Bell Helicopter Company, Grand Prairie, Texas, for more than 26 years until he retired. He married Melba Stevenson on Aug. 25, 1972, in Grand Prairie. He was an Army veteran and a member of UAW Union. Survivors include his wife, Talco; three daughters: Carol Jo Stevenson, Scurry, Texas; Loraine C. Henry, Lone Star, Texas; and Judith Lynne Rogers, Hagansport, Texas; four sons: Keith Dale Knight, Talco; Scott Alan Knight, Tomball, Texas; Russell Lee Knight, Arlington, Texas; and James Raymond West, Independence, Mo.; two brothers: Darrell L. "Dodie" Knight, California; and Larry Knight, Wichita Falls, Texas; three sisters: Margaret Bridgers, Walters; Reva Stafos, Kansas City, Mo.; and Jean Borst, Kansas City, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ester "Sis" Brown.
