All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Resthaven Memorial Gardens--Duncan OK Duncan Banner 08 May 2003 Lula Blanche LaForce Service for Lula Blanche LaForce, 70, of Duncan, who died today in Oklahoma City, is pending with Don Grantham Funeral Home. ========= Duncan Banner 09 May 2003 Lula Blanche LaForce Lula Blanche LaForce, 70, of Duncan died Thursday, May 8, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles McConnell officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Lula Blanche was born Oct. 22, 1932, in Woodford, to Odie Lee and Vera Scott Pierce. She married C.D. LaForce Jr. on June 20, 1953, in Duncan. He preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1994. Mrs. LaForce retired from Duncan Public School System in 1989, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star and Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Rose Ann and Vernon Miller of Chickasha, and Teresa and Dub Lynch of Duncan; two sons and a daughter- in-law, Jodie LaForce of Duncan and Carey Don and Tina LaForce of Oklahoma City; a sister, Rex Ann Massey of Harrah; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Bearers will be Freddie Davis, Kevin Davis, Brent Lane, Kelly Parks, Alvin Zinn and Brad Rochell.
