All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Duncan Banner 27 Dec 2002 Lloyd, George Gerald ‘G.G.’ George Gerald “G.G.” Lloyd, 89, of Duncan died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, in Ardmore Veterans Home. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Meador officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery. Mr. Lloyd was born Dec. 17, 1913. He married Gladys Austin on July 19, 1980, in Rockwall, Texas. Mr. Lloyd retired from the U.S. Air Force and worked for the Civil Service for 16 years. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God. Survivors include his wife of the home; three stepdaughters, Sharon Butler of Verden, Sylvia Mahaffey of Marlow, and Scarlette Shorter of Duncan; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
