Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. LaRoyce Brown officiating. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born November 22, 1915, to Carsie and Lottie (Jermaine) Elliott in Marlow, she went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1942 in Marlow and later transferred to Oklahoma City around 1962, where she retired in 1977. On April 27, 1963, she married William Leo Lettermon in Madison County, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother George Elliott; and a nephew Gerald Jones. Survivors include two sisters Jessie Mae Elliott Jones and Mary Ruth Phipps Shaw both of Marlow; nieces Gail, Linda, Georgia, Loretta Bandy and Susan Shaw; a nephew Jimmy Jones; a step-daughter Ginger Doreen Lettermon; a step-son Max Lettermon and wife Nancy; and several step-grandchildren.
