Long, 67, of Duncan went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City after a long illness. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Carter Smart Funeral Home. Mrs. Long was born March 7, 1935, in Lake City, Ark., to Vina and Earl Arnold. She married Raleigh D. Long on Aug. 1, 1974, in Wichita Falls. Colline was a successful businesswoman in Lawton and Duncan. She had been a small business owner, had an independent insurance agency, managed rental property, was an Award Winning High Achiever and Top Sales Associate for Mutual of Omaha, and for a number of years sold real estate while in Lawton. Mrs. Long especially loved preparing home cooked meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, puzzles, the computer and collecting genealogy and photographs of her family. She had a green thumb when it came to outdoor plants and loved outdoor gardening. She also enjoyed traveling around the United States and Mexico with her husband. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bill Stubbs of Houston and Richard Stubbs and his wife, Penny, of Bay Town, Texas; three daughters, Karen Earline Qualls of Edmond, Lou Christian and her husband, Gene, of Duncan and Lillian Bogle and her husband, Monty, also of Duncan; two step- daughters, Beverly Sellers and her husband, Alan, of Milan, Kan., and Allison Eggers and her husband, David, of Oklahoma City; a step-son, Jerry Long and his wife, Michelle, of Augusta, Kan.; 25 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Brenda Stipe of Redlands, Calif., and Wanda Demming of Louisville, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Reneé Arnold-Brewer of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; and an adopted brother, Jim Grabil, of Colorado Springs, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl Arnold, of St. Louis. Bearers will be Ralph Wiseman, E.J. Buckholts, Keith Perkins, Keith Brooksher, Monty Bogle and Gene Christian. Honorary bearers will be her many grandchildren. Memorial contribution may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.
