She married Leo Land. Survivors include two brothers, Tom Grooms of Duncan and T.D. Grooms of Coyle, three sisters, Patty Harris, Gloria Culp, and Nellie Grooms, all of Duncan, a daughter-in-law, Alison Matlock, grandsons, Corbin and Julie Land of Mustang and Cody Land of Moore, granddaughters, Bethany Land of Wichita Falls, Tx and Lori and Fred Bacon of Anchorage, Alaska, a great-granddaughter Audrey Ann Bacon and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Fred Derrell Land and her parents. Funeral services were held in the Southwood Baptist Church in Oklahoma City with Robert Haling officiating. Graveside services were in the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. Jack Robbins officiating. --------------------------------------------------------------------
