Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin with the Bishop Stanley Telford officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born November 7, 1931, to William Franklin and Margaret Grace (Usher) Lint in Cedar Rapids, IA, he retired from the US Navy in 1971 with 21 years of service. Lint was a cook, baker and commisaryman 1st class of the kitchen area. He was stationed in Long Beach, CA, Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Norfolk, VA and Newport, RI. On September 19, 1953, he married Charlene Ray Lowry in Quartzite, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Richard Lint in 1943; a sister Helen Pettit in 2002; and a son Theodore Albert Lint, Jr., in 1971. Survivors in addition to his wife Charlene of the home include a son and a daughter-in- law Jon and Patricia Lint of Duncan; four daughters and three sons-in-law Linda Lint of Florida, Karen and Donald McNeal of Cedar Rapids, CA, Nina and Ronnie Jene Ladon of Zeoni, NM and Norma Jean and Calvin Keeling of Apache; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Other survivors include seven brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Betty Lou Lint, Richard Lint, Stanley and Mardell Lint; Clyde and Gloria Lint; John and Marilyn Lint all of Cedar Rapids, IA, Gene and Jenette Lint of South Dakota and Gerald and Kathlene Lint of Alabama. Serving as pallbearers were Jason Lovell; William Moore; Justin Keeling; Brian Keeling; Calvin Keeling; and Donald McNeal.
