Jaynes Cox. died March 29 1999 in her home. She graduated from Boise City High School where she played on the basketball team. She had an interest in sports, was an avid gardener and was devoted to her church. She was a Grey Lady for the American Red Cross and a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority at the University of Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Duncan since 1942. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Carolyn Hassebroek of Dallas, Jerry and Pamela Hassebroek of Atlanta GA, three step-children and their spouses, David and Wendy Lindley of Lawton, George and Susan Lindley of Duncan and Joan Lindley and Ron Faulkner of Broomfield Colo., four grandchildren, Branden Hassebroek of Oklahoma City, Elisabeth Hassebroek of Palo Alto CA, Carter Hassebroek of Nashville Tenn., and Katherine Hassebroek of Boulder Colo., six step-grandchildren, Brittany Faulkner Vazquez of Thornton Colo., Jason Faulkner of Ft. Collins Colo., Dr. Todd Lindley of Galveston TX, Dr. Michael Lindley of Oklahoma City, Rebecca Lindley of Bethany and Sean Lindley of Duncan. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Edwin Hassebroek on Nov 5 1966, her second husband Dr. E.C. Lindley on March 1 1985, two brothers Julius Cox and William Cox, and her parents. Funeral services was in the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Eldon Moelling officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Duncan under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan --------------------------------------------------------------------
