J.R. Earls and the Rev. John Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Marlow. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Community Church. ========= Lawton Constitution 25 Jan 2003 Margaret Laura Brooks Lawrence DUNCAN -- Funeral for Margaret Laura Brooks Lawrence, 90, Duncan, was Friday at Callaway-Smith Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, Marlow, with the Rev. J.R. Earls and the Rev. John Dyer officiating. Mrs. Lawrence died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, in Duncan. Burial was at Fletcher Cemetery. Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law: James and Bernadine Brooks, Port Townsend, Wash.; Frank Gene and Joanne Brooks, Marlow; Henry and Louise Brooks, Rochester, Wash.; and Tommy Brooks, Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Corene Markham, Olympia, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Glenn Terrell, Locust Grove; a sister, Helen Nicholls, Norman; a stepson and daughter-in-law, James and Norma Lawrence, Watertown, N.Y.; four stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Byrl Brooks and Gilbert H. Lawrence.
