Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Amber Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home in Duncan. Gladys was born July 24, 1906, in Konawa, to Nance and Euncie May Morris. She was a homemaker and helped farm with her first husband, Bill South, of Chickasha, until retirement. She married W.D. "Bill" Gitthews on Dec. 23, 1924, in Chickasha, and he preceded her in death on March 21, 1966. She married Author McKenna and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1993. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Chickasha. She was preceded in death by a son, Morris "Red" Gitthens; a daughter, Ihoma Ruth Gitthens; four brothers, Lem, Olin, Marion and Orval; and a sister, Lillie.
