Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 6, at the Marlow Cemetery, with the Jack Graves officiating, Arrangements were made under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born Sept. 5, 1909, to William and Effie (Perrine) McCormick, in Ada, he was a farmer who enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially playing the guitar, fiddle and making music. In 1928, he married Imogene McCormick, in Marlow. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene; his parents; a son, David McCormick; three daughters, Arvita Carter, Artents Amant, and Arquita Gullet; and two brothers, Jewell McCormick and Ernest McCormick.
