Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Bill Florez. Burial will be in the Duncan City Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 8:30, at Don Grantham Funeral Home. Dorothy was born on May 8, 1924, in Oil City, to L.H. and Nellie (Pierce) Bogart. She married Claud Mitchell Sr. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker and reading. She is survived by her husband, Claud, of the home; two daughters and their husbands, Cassandra and Terry Love of Stephens County, Texas, and Billye Lynette and Russell Herndon of Austin, Texas; one son, Claud Mitchell Jr., and his wife Mary of Red Oak, Texas; a brother-in-law, Milton Poe of California; a half-sister, Betty Kenney of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Louise Wagner, Shirley Poe and Barbara Perrine. Bearers will be Bobby Joe Mitchell, Ernest Alexander, Ben Harris, John Adler, Steve Potter, Ronnie Calsoncin and Craig Asaff. Honorary bearers are the men of Trinity Baptist Church.
