All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Mann, Orval Neel 1914 - 2005 Orval Neel Mann, 91, retired from Rock Island Railroad, died peacefully Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at his son's home. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: 3 p.m. at Paradise Cemetery in Paradise. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Orval was born Jan. 16, 1914, in Duncan, Okla. He married Ida Belle Trammell on Jan. 17, 1942, who preceded him in death. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses for more than 50 years, he regularly shared his beliefs and the resurrection hope to a paradise on earth. He looked forward to living on a peaceful earth as Jesus taught us to pray. Orval will be remembered for his joke telling, pulling the kids' ears, great vegetable garden and his junk collecting.
