Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Couch officiating. Mrs. Minnick was born Jan. 7, 1926, Dallas, Texas, to Carl and Inez Merle Fox Cooper. She married Pete Paul John Minnick on June 28, 1943, in Columbia, S.C. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2001. Mrs. Minnick lived in Marlow for 25 1/2 years and had been a Duncan resident for 22 years. She was an accountant for Jack B. Smith Oil for eight years. She also worked for Woolworth Department Store for eight years, and was a former employee of Rocket Oil Company in Duncan. Mrs. Minnick was a member of Denton Baptist Church. She was a member of the Marlow Tatting Club and was a Hummingbird watcher. She enjoyed farm life, cooking pecan pies and liked computers. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Candace L. and Ruben Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael B. and Danna Minnick of Checotah, Gary W. Minnick of Lawton, and Richard L. Minnick of Marlow; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
