All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Marlow Cemetery-Marlow OK Duncan Banner 19 Sep 2002 Herman Douglas Morrison MARLOW — Herman Douglas Morrison, 88, of Marlow died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, in Marlow. Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow with James D. Ohl officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery. Mr. Morrison was born March 28, 1914, in Bray, to George D. and Addie Bell Mosley Morrison. He married Pauline Bowman on Dec. 22, 1934, in Bray. Mr. Morrison was a lifetime Stephens County resident and attended Bray School. He was a resident of Marlow for 16 years and of Gatlin for over 30 years. He was a home building contractor. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and golf. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Pauline, of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, Herman Wendell and Shirley Morrison of Rush Springs, Nickey Dale and Kay Morrison and Phil Ray and Wanda Morrison, all of Duncan, and Jackie Keith and Anita Morrison of Norman; a daughter and son- in-law, Vicki Joyce and Ricky Hinkie of Oklahoma City; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Morrison and Mayota Morrison; 15 grandchildren; 27 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Gurney, Pascal, Truman and James Morrison. Bearers will be Frankie Hall, Jack Hyatt, Bill Thompson, Marty Hodges, Daniel Austin and Buster Austin.
