Opal Martin

TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Opal Martin, 89, died Saturday, June 3, 2000.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Dunn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel 
with Wes Stewart, pastor of Temple Baptist Church, officiating. Burial 
will be in the family plot at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin was born in Duncan, Okla., and was a longtime resident of 
Tucumcari. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Her husband, Andrew Martin, died in 1980.

Survivors include four sons, Hershell Martin and Bob Martin, both of 
Tucumcari, Marvin Martin of Clayton and Julian Martin of Castroville, 
Texas; a daughter, Katherine Davis of Roswell; three sisters, Louise of 
Duncan, Jeneva of Oklahoma, and Nancy of Clayton; two brothers, Joe 
Charter of Oklahoma and Bage of California.

Viewing will be from Monday morning until service time Tuesday at the 
funeral home.
