Date 8 Jul 1999 Lois Marie McIntyre, 82, of Rush Springs died Saturday, 3 July 1999, in Rush Springs from injuries suffered in an auto accident near Rush Springs. Funeral services were held at 10.30 am Tuesday 6 July in the Southern Baptist Church of Rush Springs with the Rev Elmer Whitehead officiating. Music was presented by Myra Graves, Wanda Halbert and Geraldine Hale. Burial was in Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Calaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Mrs McIntyre was born 10 October 1916, the daughter of Rufus E Dunn and Anna Mae (Talley) Dunn. She and Charles Hugh McIntyre were married in Ninnekah on 3 Aug 1937. She moved to Rush Springs as an infant and later in life lived in Chickasha. She later moved to Dallas, Texas, and returned to Rush Springs in 1976. She was a secretary for the Halliburton Company for over 30 years. She graduated from Rush Springs High School and Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Rush Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband and one niece. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Delores Dunn of Midwest City; two nephews, Charles W Dunn of Norman and Glenn Dunn of Tucson, Arizona.
