All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Washburn Prairie Cemetery--Washburn MO Duncan Banner 16 Mar 2003 Sharon Sue Oldaker Sharon Sue Andrews Oldaker, 57, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, went to be with her Savior on Saturday, March 8, 2003, in Houston, after a 13-year battle with breast cancer. Funeral Service was held Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo., with burial at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, Washburn, Mo. Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Sharon was born to Bill and Jessie Tutor Andrews on Nov. 26, 1945, in Duncan. She graduated form Duncan High School and later married David Oldaker, on June 8, 1974. In 1994, they made their home in Kingwood, Texas, and would have celebrated 29 years of marriage in June. She was preceded in death by her father and by her stepfather, Sam Banks. She is survived by her husband and four children, Michelle Stewart of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Angelita Antonelli and her husband, Rick, of Mesa, Ariz.; Denise Bethke and her husband, Tim, of Edmond; Robert Oldaker and his wife, Tiffany, of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her mother; a sister, Patricia Cooper of Duncan; a brother, Mike Banks; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Matthew and Ricky. Mrs. Oldaker was an associate pastor at Metro Church, Humble-Atascocita, where she was active in developing youth and senior programs. She was a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and her ministry, Rose of Sharon, encouraged women to seek and trust the Lord in developing their personal lives. She was described by many as energetic, gracious, friendly, genuine, open and entertaining. Sharon was always forgiving, patient, loving, kind, never boastful or proud, and always trusting.
