Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Pickard was born in Marlow, Okla. During World War II, he served in the Navy. He was a professional horse trainer in New Mexico, Louisiana, California and the Eastern states. He was preceded in death by a wife, Launa Pickard. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Pickard; two sons, Larry Pickard of Hooker, Okla., and Bob Pickard of Italy; one daughter, Shirley Wheeler of Amarillo; a brother, Howard Pickard of Texhoma, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
