Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Don Grantham Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Turner officiating. Burial was held in the Rush Springs Cemetery. Born September 11, 1932, to James Elmer and Elizabeth Dunkin in Russell, IA, she was a homemaker. In 1952, she married Lawrence L. Petary. She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter Selina Fawn Williams; and a brother Harold W. Dunkin. Survivors in addition to her husband Lawrence of the home include three daughters and sons-in-law Patience and Jerry Wright and Roxy and Bill Wilson all of Rush Springs and Nancy and "Cowboy" O’Neal of Phoenix, AZ; two sons and a daughter-in-law Jake Petary and Buck and Mary Petary all of Rush Springs; 12 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and two on the way. Other survivors include three sisters Kathryn and Dorothy of California and Mildred of Iowa. Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Petary; Buck Petary; Jerry Wright, Jr.; Robert Page; and Charles Fincher.
