Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 6, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Metheny and the Rev. G.W. Howard officiating. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born April 21, 1926, to Roy and Maybell (Wheeler) Tucker, in Duncan, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, singing, and cooking. On Jan. 27, 1945, she married J.W. Patterson, in Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, LeeRoy Tucker; and four brothers-in-law, Ivo Patterson, Ray Patterson, Troy Patterson, and Bob Foster. Survivors in addition to her husband, J.W. of Marlow include, a daughter and son-in-law, Letha and Joe Washum of Duncan; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles and Linda Patterson of Norman, Jerry Patterson of Moore, and Eddie and Deressa Patterson of Duncan; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include two sisters, Lois Patterson of Marlow, and Eula Mae Foster of Dallas, Texas; and four sisters-in-law, Evelyn Patterson, Ella Patterson, Marie and husband Otis Williams all of Marlow, and Barbara Tucker of Duncan.
