All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Duncan Banner 21 Jun 2002 Henry Ford Plant WAURIKA — Henry Ford Plant, 81, died Thursday, June 20, 2002, in the Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the First Assembly of God in Waurika with Lynn Plant, Curtis Plant and Bryan Plant officiating. Burial will be in Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. The family will receive visitors from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Plant was born Sept. 23, 1920, in Waurika to Norby Dalto and Mary Jane Plant. He married Ada Mae Bright on Oct. 7, 1944, in Duncan. She preceded him in death on June 30, 1996. Mr. Plant was a member of the First Assembly of God in Waurika and was a deacon for six years. He was union president for AFLCIO. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Joyce Plant of Foster; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Ethel and Glenn Anthony of Waurika, Stella and W.L. Heemer of Houston, Texas, Margie and C.J. Burnham of Ardmore, Wanda and Bill Kling of Oklahoma City and Yvonne and A.J. Beaver of Wichita Falls, Texas; two grandchildren and their spouses, Curtis and Kimberly Plant of Waurika and Bryan and Wendy Plant of Duncan; two great-granddaughters, Lauren and Sapphira Plant; and two great- grandsons, Joachim and Tyler Plant.
